The Challenge

I was tasked with redesigning the First Piece platform to enhance its usability and engagement for NFT art collectors. The challenge involved improving the auction handling experience and ensuring better discoverability of new auctions and artists. The goal was to create a seamless user experience by addressing navigation difficulties, reducing user effort, and making the platform more intuitive for exploring and managing NFT listings. Without these improvements, users faced frustrations in finding relevant auctions and artists, which risked diminishing the platform's value in the competitive NFT ecosystem.

Unlike marketplaces catering to large collections, it prioritizes exclusive digital art and seamless auction handling. With localized features tailored for Hong Kong and China, wallet integration, and a streamlined interface, First Piece simplifies the NFT art collection process, making it accessible, engaging, and supportive for both new and experienced collectors.

Cards had too much information, making them hard to read and overwhelming.

Lack of Visual Hierarchy

Key elements like auction status and price weren’t prioritized, causing confusion.

Ineffective Filtering System

Filters were unintuitive and lacked advanced options, making searches difficult.
